Right-To-Know (RTK) Application and Procedures

gkuzak@cecilpd.comThe Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law (RTKL) was first introduced on March 29, 2007, by Senator Dominic Pileggi in Senate Bill 1 and signed into law on February 14, 2008. The current law took effect on January 1, 2009. Most records of a public entity, such as local government, state government, including police records, are considered open to the public but must be requested using the Right-to-Know form provided by each agency. 

Cecil Township's Right-to-Know Officer is Donald Gennuso, Cecil Township Manager. Cindy Stevens, Financial Department, is the second point of contact. The Cecil Township Police Department  Right-to-Know Officer is: Lt. Guy Kuzak.
