Responsibilities

The Parks and Recreation Board meets to discuss, plan, and promote family-oriented events for the residents of Cecil Township.  This Board plans annual events such as:

  • Easter Egg Hunt
  • Car Cruise
  • Fall Festival
  • Movie Nights in the Park
  • Touch-a-Truck
  • Community Day
  • The Trial of Treats
  • Fishing Derby
  • Simply Christmas

Appointment

Appointments to this Board are made by the Supervisors at their annual reorganization meeting held each January or when a vacancy occurs. Residents who are interested in serving are encouraged to submit a letter of interest and resume to the Township Manager.
