Fishing is a favorite pastime in Cecil Township. Each year, the Fish and Boat Commission stocks streams and lakes in Pennsylvania, including Millers Run stream, with Trout, Muskellunge, Walleye, and panfish species. Stocking of Millers Run Creek by the commission occurs three times a year.
