The Planning Commission consists of five members appointed by the Board of Supervisors to a four-year term. The Planning Commission is a recommending body that reviews all subdivisions, site plans, and land use plans. It's recommendations are sent to the Board of Supervisors for final approval. Additionally, the commission reviews zoning ordinances and makes recommendations as to proposed amendments along with maintaining a Comprehensive Plan.
The Planning Commission meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the municipal building on Millers Run Road. All meetings are open to the public.
