The Cecil Township Parks and Recreation Board consists of seven members appointed by the Board of Supervisors for five year terms. The Township maintains 10 acres of municipal and three parklettes. 

The Park and Recreation Board oversees several events during the course of the year, an Easter Egg Hunt, Classic Car Show, Fall Festival, Lunch with Santa and any other festivities the Board may decide on for a particular season.

Scheduling of the Township Ball Fields is also done by this board. It may also recommend additions or updates to the parks for the benefit of all Township residents.

 


The Parks and Recreation Board meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM
and are open to the public.
